LuminOre® gives almost any material the appearance of being a solid cast metal object, without the weight. Their patented cold-sprayable process allows a thin layer of metal to be applied over almost any substrate. It looks, feels, and acts like hot-cast metal, because it is up to 95 percent metal.
The coating is available in nine metals: Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Iron, Nickel-Silver, Stainless Steel, Xmetal, and Z3.
Metal Facades has been using this product for several years to apply metal to industrial and decorative item for several years. Now, Atlas Signs and Plaques, is using the same product to produce commercial and home signage by coating HDU board giving the look of foundry-cast metal to signs and plaques of all sizes.
